Uganda is a country rich in culture, wildlife, stunning landscapes and natural resources. There are around 56 tribal groups with different traditions and cultural identities. Uganda is known as the pearl of Africa and it is also a home to the rare mountain gorillas making it one of the most popular safari destinations.
Despite the diverse richness of uganda's natural and human geography, the country faces many socioeconomic challenges that make our work vitally important. 41% of Uganda's population live below the poverty line, on less than $1.90 a day and nearly 50% of the children dont complete primary school. The most vulnerable are families and children living in the urban slums, in the country lands with high child mortality rate, and low enrolment in school.
Therefore Kizuna International focuses Charity focuses on transforming young ugandan lives in the slums by providing them basic needs and hands on activities for better skilling.
we work together with vulnerable children from marginalised communities to create rewarding futures. We shall focus on helping the unprivileged fulfil their potential and release themselves from the cycle of poverty through providing them jobs and skilling in art , photography, movie, music , fashion, ICT and innovation.
We want to create a focused empowered skilled ,productive ,self sustaining and independent youth equipped to face and overcome the vagaries of life.
